Summer BBQ

Recently the Switzers and Whitman's chatted about having a summer BBQ... we think its a grand idea and would like to look into it. We know that many of you probably already have some summer plans, so can you look at your calendars and tell us what are the bad times for having a summer BBQ at the new and improved Switzer house??

    July 1 is bad. Also, once we hit late July, we are in the BBT danger zone and he could drop at any time.

    You should still be able to BBQ and frolic until due date...unless mandatory bed rest. Let us know about that.

    The only weekend I am out (and Cathy is too) is July 29th. How does the 22nd work??

    July 22 is not so good for us, as it is our last day at our beach house... but I think we have to be out by around noon, so maybe an evening wouldn't be impossible. Although another day would probably be better. What about July 8?

    The 8th it is. At Casa de Switzer. Time TBA... Mark and I need to recover from the end of school but will let you know within the week. We will also send out evites. Yay for barbecues....and for friends.

    Will not be able to attend on the 8th as I now have a wedding to attend in LA. :( But please do not change the plans...I know it's hard to get these things planned. If you want to do July 9th, we could swing that.

    If you do want to change, weekend of July 1 is good.

    We can't do the 9th as it is supposed to be our embryo transfer day. What about the 7th for people? We know it means travelling after work, but we would like to get as many people here as possible.... Let us know if the 7th works for everyone.. and remember, we have a very comfy sofa sleeper in our new room for anyone who needs to crash.. and we could put up an inflatable air mattress (a good one) in our other room so we have the ability to house some of you.

    Could we have some red meat at the BBQ? I'm dying for some steak...I could try to marinate some steaks if someone promises to cook mine medium rare...

    Mark is a master steak cooker... so no worries. We will give you some good red meat.

    You all should def. stick with the 8th as getting there on a Friday would be murder for us (at least an hour and a half drive in rush hour). And the old broad is usually quite beat by 9pm. :( So sad to miss it.
