OK, Here's the Situation . . .
My parents went away on a week's vacation. . .
*ahem* but seriously, folks.
Suzanne is scheduled to be induced Monday morning at 7 a.m. So, worst case, 5 more days. However, in talking with others, scheduling a labor inducement is the death-knell for womb-time. Everyone we know who was scheduled to be induced went into labor naturally first.
I'm betting that BBT will make the scene this weekend - prolly Saturday. Of course, other than predicting his sex (which, let's face it, is 50/50 odds), I've been consistently wrong about just about everything else concerning this pregnancy.
Schmell.

I think he will arrive prior to induction as well. Some things they say may help speed things along:
warm showers
sex.....seriously
walking around

Well - lots more contractions have occurred, which is a good sign.
We go in today for the final check before the induction on Monday morning. I still think that BBT will arrive this weekend, though.

Final check occurred this afternoon. Suz is now having regular contractions every 5-9 mins.
Maybe tonight is the night? Think good thoughts, please!

False alarm yet again. LOTS of regular contractions, no real dialation.
Pregnancy reminds me of my favorite line from the Naked Gun:
"It's a long, arduous process that goes on and on and just when you think that you are getting somewhere. . . nothing happens."
Well - 55 hours and counting.

Can I borrow Suzie's cervix??? Geez.... I wish I had the comfort of knowing my cervix was not going to open up for anything.

LOL! Perhaps, but you have to take the Irratable Uterus, too.
We are now in our room at the hospital and have been here since 3:30. All is going great - particularly since the epideral (sp?) kicked in. Suz is doing great.
BBT should be on the scene in a few hours. . .

I already have an irritable uterus...does that mean if I took her cervix i would have double irritability?
