    Sweet.

Perhaps an impromptu group get-together is in order?

`Cause I've seen, oh, blue skies
Through the tears in my eyes
And I realize, I'm going home.

    Thoughts on where and when?

    I'm out the weekend of the 7th. . .

I propose South OC so the Taylors don't have to travel given their new addition. How about dinner in San Clemente on Friday, October 6th? Corey can pick the restaurant but the place we went for his birthday last year was pretty good.

I think the Switzers are available that night.

That's cool, but seems unfair to the other folks.

What about a little further North like the Irvine Spectrum or near South Coast Plaza or something?

I am guessing that Mo is not supposed to be more than an hour from home right now.

The Lutes family wanted to make sure that wherever we go will be child-friendly. Apparently some establishments have refused to serve Dave before.

I wish I could make it! Dave and I will be in Big bear this weekend for a big fishing tourney. Although I will be laying on a couch at the house because if you've seen how big I now am, you would know that I should be no where near a boat.

There are some great restaurants at the Spectrum, although I can't recall what any of them are right now. I feel like maybe there is a Taps.... and a Cheesecake Factory?? I think the last time i was there was for a friends bachelorette party where I had far too much to drink and then made the mistake of eating Crispy Creme donuts and chocolate milk later that night. Needless to say, it wasn't pretty.... perhaps this is why I can't recall what restaurants are there.

Okay...the restaurants at the Spectrum are as follows: PF Changs, Champs, Dave and Busters, Cheesecake Factory, some Mexican joint that's supposed to be good, Maki Maki (I hate that place...I can't believe it claims to serve Japanese food), Sing Sing (for Sjon and Corey), Red Robin (for da kids), Fox Sports Bar, The Yard House...a fish place (something with a red sign with a fist motif)...and another Asian Fusian eatery (where Thaifoon used to be)... Sorry about the vagalities (I made up that word AND I used it today in class), but my brain is officially fried. So I guess it's time to grade some papers! xo, C

P.S. Let me know if you want me to rattle off other vague restaurants by South Coast...

P.S.S. I also used the word "strategery" today in reference to the Spanish conquest of the Aztec and Inca. Heck, I figure that if the President can make up words, then so can I...

I don't know if I would admit to using words the president has made up....

Any of those restaurants except for the Sushi place sound great..... I would just cry at the sight of spicy tuna rolls that I can't consume due to the baby, whom I have lovingly named Chalmers for the time being (even though I would never actually name my child Chalmers since he would be doomed to a life of bullying.... and we don't even know if he is a Chalmers and not a Chalmette. )
